Our World on Fire
See what others can't by using a simple and focused workflow that combines fire activity and imagery to discover affected areas using curated content from the
ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World.
NOTE: the available dates of the data in the thermal activity and imagery layers don't always match. One way in which this application helps overcome this issue is that it allows for you to inspect thermal activity at a location to see what is currently going on, and then use the imagery to discover how that location has changed recently.
First, use the clustered locations of recent thermal activity as guides to zoom into specific areas.
Or use the contributed locations by other users via the 'Areas of Interest' menu.
Then view recent changes using imagery by using the list of available dates for an area.
If you find new areas of interest, please sign in and contribute them for others to inspect via the 'Areas of Interest' menu.
